In this book, there are two main characters. Reef is a professional skier, on vacation from training for the upcoming completion season. Ford, is part of the ski rescue team and is openly gay, whereas Reef at the beginning of the book just broke up with his girlfriend Adalynn, and isn’t looking for anything serious at that particular moment. But that all changes when Reef and Ford are locked in a cabin from a fierce blizzard storm.
Reef ends up hurting himself, and Ford takes care of him in more ways than one. After a few days of wild passion, and getting to know each other, Reef starts to question his sexual preference altogether. They are extremely surprised and shocked when Reef’s buddy Trent finds them together, and instead of defending Reef, Ford describes their Relationship as “nothing.” When Adalynn comes to try to patch things up, between her and Reef, he wants no part of her drama anymore, and she too is very surprised at his recent revelation.
Reef and Ford end up having a huge fight in the middle of all of this and “break up” for all 3 days in book time. They end up getting back together, and now the only question is, how is he going to tell his parents? The last time they spoke on the phone, his “momma bear” still assumed he was telling her about girl issues, and he was sure she’d understand, but Coach, on the other hand, was a different story completely. But as long as Reef was happy, that’s all that mattered right?
They end up moving in together and live happily ever after.
I rate this book a solid 3 out of 5 stars, due to its perfect amount of drama and romance. But I do need to warn you about the age-appropriateness of this book. There are some sexual scenes in this book. *So unless you are 18 and up, don’t buy this book. It is a series of three and can be read on a Kindle as well as Barnes and noble.*
